I have an older 950 in pieces. Sheet metal rough, low range doesn't work, turf tires in good shape. Engine shot and apart. Hydraulics worked well last time it ran. The question is: Do I part it out, sell it all or find an engine? I have an offer of $400- is that right? Where could I get an engine and how much would it cost?

I am guessing that the person offering $400 is going to part it out. That will most likely bring quite a bit more than $400, but you have to be able to find those people needing the parts. OK for a salvage yard, probably not practical for an individual. A new engine would probably be more than the tractor is worth. A used engine will probably be hard to find. I have a 950 and have searched the web for a yard with used 950 parts and have not yet found one. ....
